ELIXIRS OF THE GODS
Earthen Abundance at Lakshmi’s Lounge • Unison Festival 2026
If you found your way here after sipping one of my creations at Lakshmi’s Lounge, welcome. These are the plants that were behind the bar: botanical tinctures, elixirs, and honeyed oxymels created in small batches by Earthen Abundance.
I work with plants as whole beings, paying attention not only to their traditional uses, but to the way they taste, feel, and come together in a formula. Some of these blends also contain flower essences, adding another subtle layer to the plants in the bottle.
Flower essences are different from herbal tinctures. They contain very little of the physical constituents of the plant and are traditionally used on an energetic or emotional level. I love combining them with herbal preparations because it allows me to work with a plant in more than one way.
Here’s a little more about what you were sipping on.
HEART, ON
Turn your heart on.
Hawthorn • Damiana • Rose • Bitter Orange • Organic Honey • Wild Rose Flower Essence
Heart, On was created around pleasure, connection, and sensuality.
Hawthorn has a long history as an herb associated with the physical and emotional heart, while rose brings its own beautiful relationship with love, softness, and opening. Damiana is a warming herb traditionally associated with sensuality and desire. Bitter orange brings brightness and an aromatic edge that lifts the whole formula.
Wild Rose Flower Essence
Wild rose carries an invitation back into participation with life, toward aliveness, desire, and a willingness to meet what’s here. I added the flower essence as another layer of Heart, On, bringing the physical plants together with their more subtle, energetic expression.
Pleasure • Connection • Sensuality
ELEVATE
Feel juicy.
Sassafras • Hawthorn • Rose • Rhodiola • Cinnamon • Cardamom • Clove • Organic Honey • Red Poppy Flower Essence
Elevate is warm, spicy, bright, and a little wild.
Sassafras gives the blend its distinctive earthy sweetness, while cinnamon, cardamom, and clove bring warmth and movement. Rhodiola is traditionally used as an adaptogen to support resilience and stamina, while hawthorn and rose bring the heart into the mix.
This one was created for those moments when you want to feel awake to your life, energized, engaged, warm, and sparked.
Red Poppy Flower Essence
Red poppy flower essence brings another dimension to Elevate: vitality, presence, and creative fire. I love it here as the energetic counterpart to the warmth and movement of the physical herbs.

LEMON DROP
Drop in.
Lemon Balm • Lemon Verbena • Lemongrass • Linden • Organic Honey • Forsythia Flower Essence
Lemon Drop is bright and lemony, but underneath that brightness is a collection of herbs traditionally loved for their gentle, calming qualities.
Lemon balm has a beautiful combination of uplifting and relaxing qualities, while linden has a long history of use for soothing the nervous system and is another plant with a traditional affinity for the heart. Lemon verbena and lemongrass bring their bright citrus aromatics into the blend.
It’s a little bit of a contradiction in the best way: bright and calm at the same time.
Forsythia Flower Essence
Forsythia is one of the first bright bursts of spring, flowering before much of the landscape has fully awakened. Its flower essence adds that sense of emergence and lightness to Lemon Drop, a reminder that ease doesn’t have to mean becoming smaller or dimmer.
Bright • Calm • Ease
BLUE LOTUS
Dream a little.
Blue Lotus Flower • Organic Honey
Blue lotus has a long history of ceremonial use and is famously depicted in ancient Egyptian art. Today, herbalists and plant people are often drawn to blue lotus for its relaxing, dreamy, sensual qualities.
This is intentionally one of the simplest elixirs on the menu. Blue lotus and organic honey. Nothing complicated. Just an opportunity to experience the character of the flower itself.
Dreamy • Relaxed • Sensual • Expansive
PEDICULARIS
Unclench.
Wildcrafted Pedicularis
Pedicularis is one of my favorite plants for releasing tension from the body. Herbalists traditionally use Pedicularis as a musculoskeletal relaxant, particularly when the body feels tight, tense, or like it just doesn’t want to let go.
I wildcraft this plant myself and keep the formula intentionally simple. Just Pedicularis, so you can really experience the plant on its own.
There’s something I love about a plant whose invitation is so simple: soften.
Release • Relax • Soften • Embody
HONEYED OXYMELS
Alcohol-free herbal infusions of apple cider vinegar + organic honey
Oxymels are an old herbal preparation made with vinegar and honey. Vinegar offers a way of extracting plants without alcohol, while honey softens the acidity and makes the herbs delicious to take.
These three were created as another way to experience the plants at Lakshmi’s Lounge.
SACRED HEART
Wild Rose • Hawthorn Berry • Holy Basil
Sacred Heart brings together three plants I associate deeply with the heart.
Hawthorn has been used by herbalists for generations as a cardiovascular tonic and has an equally rich folkloric relationship with the emotional heart. Rose brings softness and beauty, while holy basil, also known as tulsi, is an aromatic adaptogenic herb traditionally used to support the body through stress.
Together they make something that feels grounding, nourishing, and open.
This one is less about turning the volume up and more about coming home to yourself.
Nourish • Ground • Open
LIGHTEN UP
Spearmint • Lemon Balm
Simple, cooling, and bright.
Spearmint brings that unmistakable fresh green lift, while lemon balm is one of my favorite herbs for those moments when you want to settle without feeling heavy or sleepy.
Lighten Up was made to feel refreshing without being complicated. Two familiar plants that complement each other beautifully and don’t need much else.
Cool • Bright • Refresh • Settle
CLEAR CHANNEL
Violet • Madrone Bark • Calendula • Spilanthes • Tulsi • Licorice • Wild Cherry Bark • Cinnamon
Clear Channel was formulated specifically with the throat in mind. It brings together herbs traditionally used to soothe and support the throat, along with plants that are warming, stimulating, moistening, and aromatic.
Violet and licorice bring soothing qualities, while spilanthes brings its unmistakable tingle. Wild cherry bark has a long history of traditional use for the throat and respiratory system. Tulsi and cinnamon bring warmth and aromatics, with calendula and madrone rounding out the formula.
I also love the throat as more than just a physical space. It’s where we speak, sing, express ourselves, and give voice to what’s inside us. Clear Channel lives somewhere in that meeting place between the physical and the energetic.
Soothe • Clear • Express • Flow
ABOUT EARTHEN ABUNDANCE
Earthen Abundance is a small-batch herbal apothecary based in Missoula, Montana.
My offerings shift with the plants, the seasons, what I’m wildcrafting, and what I’m currently inspired to make. Because I work in small batches, not everything I have available makes it online.
If something you tried at Unison is calling you, visit my Etsy shop to see what’s currently available or send me a message to ask what I have on hand.
Thank you for drinking plants with me.
