About
Hi, I am Ashli, herbalist, mother, and founder of Earthen Abundance.
My path with plant medicine began long before I ever opened my apothecary. I studied Cultural and Medical Anthropology at California State University San Marcos, where I first encountered traditional healing systems while working alongside a Mexican curandero. That experience awakened a deep remembrance of the body, the land, and the intelligence of plants.
Not long after graduating, I felt the call to become a mother, and that desire changed everything. When I decided I wanted to have a baby, I began diving deeply into the natural world. I threw away my over the counter medicines, came off birth control, began researching herbs, food, and holistic health, and started drinking herbal infusions every day. Even before I became pregnant, I was learning how to support the body in the most natural and intentional way I knew how.
When I did become pregnant, that commitment only deepened. I continued studying herbs and natural medicine throughout my pregnancy and chose to birth my son at home, supported by a midwife and doula. After he was born, when he struggled with severe colic and food sensitivities, I was initiated even more fully into the worlds of nourishment, healing, and plant medicine. Through that season, I learned not only how to care for another life, but how to truly listen to the body’s wisdom.
As my path continued, I deepened my formal studies and became a certified yoga teacher through SoulWork in Costa Rica. I later completed an herbal apprenticeship under Kathi Keville, a turning point that gave me the confidence to begin making and sharing medicine more fully.
It was through this growing relationship with the plants that Earthen Abundance took form, emerging as a living expression of my devotion to herbal medicine and flowers. I began crafting small batch medicines and wildcrafting, building the apothecary as a place of care and support for the body, the nervous system, the emotions, and the mind.
Alongside my work with plants, I also study astrology as a tool for self understanding, timing, and spiritual insight, and I weave this celestial wisdom into my offerings, including my astro essence readings, to support people in aligning more deeply with themselves and their life path.
Today, Earthen Abundance is more than an apothecary. It is a sanctuary of plant medicine, care, and remembrance, a place where herbs, flowers, and the human heart meet.
I spend my days wildcrafting, crafting small batch medicines, tending my garden when I am so blessed to have one, cooking, moving my body, teaching, learning, loving, and walking this Earth as gently and intentionally as I can. I believe the Earth holds, in her abundance, everything we need to survive and to truly thrive.
If you are here, I am so glad you found your way.
Welcome.
